"Let's get to work" to choose Harris and Walz, Obama says to conclude DNC speech
Former President Barack Obama talks on Tuesday, Admirable 20, in Chicago amid the DNC.
Former President Barack Obama said Kamala Harris and Tim Walz epitomize “a return to America where we work together and see out for each other” whereas wrapping up his Tuesday night featuring a spot at the DNC.
“If we each do our portion inside the following 77 days — if we thump on entryways, if we make phone calls, if we conversation to our companions, if we tune in to our neighbors, if we work like we've never worked some time recently, if we hold firm to our feelings — we will choose Kamala Harris as the following president of the Joined together States and Tim Walz as the another bad habit president of the Joined together States.”
He included: “And together, we as well will construct a nation that is more secure and more fair, more rise to and more free.”
“So let's get to work,” the previous president said, finishing his comments.
